Planning office for the living environment

The KIWI database for the household prognosis website (www.huishoudensprognose.nl) contains the regional population and household prognosis figures for 2007–2025, which were compiled in a collaborative effort between the Central Statistics Office (CBS) and the Planning Office for the Living Environment (Planbureau voor de Leefomgeving). The project provides a coherent prognosis of the developments concerning the population and households of all Dutch municipalities, arranged according to age, sex, type of household, and origin.

On the website, users can view and download the results of the regional prognoses, or compose customised reports using the prognosis figures. In addition, publications and reports of the prognoses can be downloaded, as well as source files containing data for every year and every municipality.
